Midterms already?
Hello World,
So here we are again in midterm season when it seems like we haven’t learned anything yet. I have one midterm on Friday and one on Saturday, yes on Valentines day weekend. But it is what it is and I gotta buck up and study. So far my classes have been going well this semester, it’s a lot different starting a semester knowing what to expect then to go in blindly and hope for the best.
I am also enjoying this semesters classes more. The classes I’m taking seem to relate more to the course i want to enroll in next year. With Computer engineering, Mechanics, Linear algebra and my calculus class starting differential equations the application are starting become more evident which makes it easier to sink my teeth into my work and start to enjoy myself while doing homework. And with midterm coming up it’s nice to enjoy what I’m spending every second on.
Other exiting news is I recently received a letter from the office of the Dean of Engineering congratulating me on my first class standing and informing me i am in the running to be nominated for the CD Howe Memorial Foundation Engineering Awards Program, which is extremely exiting and an honor even to be nominated. Yes I know this sounds a lot like bragging but it’s not bragging if you can hold it up.
But that’s all the updates I have for now, I hope to be back again before my midterms are finished but I’m not sure if I’ll have enough time.
